Rada legal

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Rada iOS app, the public legal pages hosted at api.radaapp.ee, and related backend services.

Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Rada, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You may use Rada only in compliance with applicable law. These terms do not limit any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

The service

Rada provides public transport information for Tallinn, including route planning, live vehicle positions, departures, stops, routes, and timetable-related features.

  • Rada is an information service and does not sell tickets in this launch version.
  • Public transport data can come from third-party or public data sources and may change, lag, or contain errors.
  • We may route requests through backend services, caches, and external providers to deliver search, planning, and live transport data.

Permitted use

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Rada for your personal, non-commercial use.

You must not:

  • Reverse engineer, disrupt, or interfere with the service or its security.
  • Use automated scraping, bots, or bulk extraction against the app or API.
  • Reuse the service to build a competing public API or commercial data feed without permission.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or access controls.
  • Use the service in a way that harms other users or the reliability of the platform.

Limits and disclaimers

We aim to provide a useful and reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or perfect accuracy.

  • Transit times, vehicle positions, route suggestions, and place results may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate.
  • The app may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, or third-party upstream failures.
  • Rada is not an emergency service and must not be relied on for emergency or safety-critical decisions.
  • You remain responsible for checking signs, official notices, and fare rules before travelling.

Intellectual property

The Rada app, design, branding, backend implementation, and legal pages are owned by or licensed to Rada, except for third-party software, open data, and public transit datasets that remain subject to their own rights and licenses.

These terms do not transfer ownership of the service or its content to you.

Suspension and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service, including features, upstream providers, or access controls, when reasonably needed for security, legal, technical, or product reasons.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Rada after an updated version becomes effective means you accept the revised terms.
